We are WildMex Surf & Adventure, a surf and outdoor company with over 19 years of experience in Punta de Mita, San Pancho & Sayulita, Mexico. We’re all about fun, safety, and the ocean lifestyle — offering surf lessons & trips, MTB rides, hikes, snorkel & boat tours.
Our 35+ team members are young, energetic, outdoorsy, and always up for a challenge. Are you passionate about photography, surfing, and nature? Help our guests take home unforgettable memories of their time in the water! Now, we’re looking for a talented Surf Photographer to join our crew, capture unique moments, and share the stoke!

📍 Location: San Pancho, Sayulita & La Lancha, Nayarit

💼 Job Type: Full-time, on-site

🕒 Schedule: Adjusted to surf session schedules, 6 days a week

💰Salary: Base salary of $5,000 MXN per month + attractive sales commissions.

As a WildMex Surf Photographer you will:

  • Provide high-quality photography and video services to guests during surf sessions, shooting from both land and inside the water.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales, showcasing and selling customized photo packages directly to guests.
  • Edit photographic and video material efficiently for commercial sales and internal company use.
  • Clean, maintain, back up, and ensure the proper functioning of all photography and video gear.
  • Coordinate closely with the surf instructors and support the team with session logistics.

Requirements

Here’s what makes you a great fit for the team.

Genuine passion for photography, surfing, and the outdoors.

Ability to swim confidently in the ocean (ability or desire to surf is a major plus, and we offer opportunities to practice!).

Fluent in English (Spanish = bonus)

Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and confident face-to-face sales abilities.

Physical availability to walk to beach locations, carry gear, and work comfortably in outdoor/beach environments.

High level of commitment, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
