We are WildMex Surf & Adventure, a surf and outdoor company with over 19 years of experience in Punta de Mita & Sayulita, Mexico. We’re all about fun, safety, and the ocean lifestyle — offering surf lessons & trips, MTB rides, hikes, snorkel & boat tours.
Our 35+ team members are young, energetic, outdoorsy, and always up for a challenge. We are looking for fit and hard-working volunteers to help build and maintain mountain biking and hiking trails in the jungle. This is an ideal opportunity to live by the beach and surf in exchange for physical outdoor work.
📍 Location: San Pancho, Sayulita & La Lancha, Nayarit
As a Trail Building & Maintenance Volunteer you will:
- Strenuous physical work in the jungle involving clearing bushes with a machete, bench cutting into the ground, and hiking in and out of trails.
- General maintenance, repairs, and organizational tasks.
- Participate in our environmental project by keeping La Lancha beach and its access trails clean.
Specific Requirements: Excellent physical condition and previous experience in manual labor, gardening, or construction.
General Volunteer Requirements:
Schedule: 20 hours of work per week (usually 5 hours a day, 5 days a week). Trail building is done in the mornings to beat the heat. Arrivals Mon-Sat between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m
Note: Food not included, but a 20% discount is available at the affiliated restaurant.
